Poetry Month #napowrimo #Day11

This month I will read a poem and use it to inspire a poem of my own. I will write about process, but will not publish the poem drafts on the blog.

I was up ridiculously early today. I started writing at about 3:30 am (I woke up much earlier than that). Insomnia was in charge this morning.

Day 11

Mentor text/inspiration poem for today: 9 Dreams

This poem is one I have had saved in my Keep app. I wrote a poem inspired by this format called, “9 Mirrors”.

I did a search in my app for all the entries I had made with the word “mirrors” and used several of those notes to write my piece.
