  2. The coffee shop (I esp love writing here)

  5. My desk at work.
  6. In the car when I am waiting

What do you read?

  1. Ohh, I love reading and writing in a coffee shop as well. Although, at times I get distracted by observing the other customers; what they are eating and drinking or how they are talking. Ideas for slices as well!

  2. In front of the sunny window near the fireplace. When my children were small, we read together in the big, red reclining chair (no longer with us). Cuddling up to read was the best.
I’m currently finishing “Where the Crawdads Sing.”

    • Awww that is the perfect place! My other house had a fireplace and I read there all the time. I have a pic from last year’s spring break with a fire and the top of my book

  3. I love everything about the coffee shop – reading, writing, coffee, tea, bagels, cookies, sandwiches, muffins, and doughnuts.:) My very favorite place to read and write is poolside. Unfortunately, due to the wintery weather in CNY, the pool is only open from May to September. During that time, I do a ton of reading and writing.

  4. I’m looking for my next great read. 2019 hasn’t brought me anything that rocks my world. Suggestions?

    • Last year I read The Immortalists which is from the perspective of 4 siblings. I also loved Hazelwood which is fairytale-ish. It depends on what type of story you are looking for though. I tend to like books with a darker element.

  5. My favorite place to read, when the weather is nice, is on the swing in my backyard. When the weather isn’t nice (most of the year, it seems), I like to curl up on my couch with a blanket. 🙂 ~JudyK
